Terms of Service
By using Pickd ("the service"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
The service
Pickd is a resume builder. You provide information about yourself, or paste a LinkedIn profile, and we use AI to generate a resume PDF. You can edit the result, download it, and have it emailed to you.
Pickd is operated by William Sobran, an individual based in Florida. Contact: support@gotpickd.com.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use Pickd.
Plans and billing
Pickd offers three plans:
- One-time — $27, single resume build.
- 3-day trial — $1 for 3 days of access, then $12/month. Cancel anytime to avoid the monthly charge.
- Annual — $97/year.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions auto-renew until canceled. You can cancel by emailing support@gotpickd.com or through your Stripe receipt link.
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Provide false information or impersonate another person on your resume.
- Use Pickd to generate content for any illegal purpose.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the service or its underlying AI providers.
- Submit content that violates copyright, contains malware, or includes another person's confidential information without their consent.
We may suspend or terminate access if these rules are broken.
Your content
The content you provide remains yours. By using Pickd, you grant us a non-exclusive license to process your content solely to generate and deliver your resume. We do not claim ownership of your information or your resulting resume.
You are responsible for the accuracy and truthfulness of every claim on your resume. Pickd uses AI to format your input — it does not verify your facts. Misrepresenting yourself on your resume is your responsibility, not ours.
Our content
The Pickd website, branding, code, and resume templates are our intellectual property. You may not copy or redistribute them without permission.
AI-generated content disclaimer
Resumes produced by Pickd are generated by an AI model based on the inputs you provide. While we instruct the AI not to invent facts, AI output can contain errors or unintended phrasing. Always review your resume carefully before sending it to a recruiter. Pickd is not responsible for hiring outcomes, errors in generated text, or how recruiters perceive your resume.
Disclaimers
Pickd is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding accuracy, fitness for purpose, or uninterrupted availability. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pickd's total liability to you for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including lost wages, lost job opportunities, or hiring outcomes.
Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms. Termination does not entitle you to a refund except as provided in our Refund Policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be brought in a state or federal court located in Miami-Dade County, Florida.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
